Dorin Burcus

Founder

Dorin Burcus is the founder of Mr Wallcover. He has worked in the trade since 2014. He started as a labourer and went on to run wallcovering packages in prime hotels.

The earliest dated commission on this site is Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square, 2016 to 2019, guest room and suite wallpapering. Later public work includes The OWO on Whitehall, Brown's Hotel in Mayfair, hotels in Holborn and at Silverstone, and The Lanesborough.

The practice is based in London and covers London and the surrounding areas, working UK-wide for selected projects. Services are built around the building and the people who have to keep using it, so that disruption stays small.

What you see on this site is public. Private clients are not named.

The work, in order. Read the services.

How the work is carried

Three things we will not trade away.

Respect

In a home, the building is someone's house and we are temporary visitors. The work is planned around the household, kept physically contained, and left tidy. A hotel deserves the same restraint. Guests should not have to live in our mess.

Discretion

Private clients are not named, on this site or in passing. We publish the commissions that are already public, and we leave the rest off the page.

Our word

We prefer a straightforward conversation and a clear agreement. We commit to the commissions we take on. An agreed specification and an agreed time are the job.
