Specified papers we install

Mr Wallcover has installed papers by de Gournay, Fromental, House of Hackney, Muraspec, Phillip Jeffries and Timorous Beasties, along with the makers named on our published case studies below. Installed means we hung that maker's product on a project. It is not a maker approval or endorsement, and we are not on makers' installer lists. The one partnership is Calico Wallpaper: work delivered in partnership with Calico Wallpaper.

Makers we have installed

de Gournay. Hand-painted scenic and panelled papers. They need a sound wall, a patient set-out and time. See hand-painted wallpaper installation.

Fromental. Scenic and panelled papers, including a large volume at Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square.

House of Hackney. Hung across the Georgian house at the Castle of Trematon (PLANTASIA, GAIA, FLORA DELANICA, COSMOS, FLORA FANTASIA, ARTEMIS and HOLLYHOCKS), in the maker’s own showroom at St Michael’s Clergy House, in the suite at Hyde London City (LIMERENCE) and in a listed Georgian house in North London (BAMBUSA).

Muraspec. Contract wallcoverings. See hotel wallcovering installation.

Calico Wallpaper

Work delivered in partnership with Calico Wallpaper. The Brooklyn studio’s murals are on our record at Lee Broom’s Shoreditch showroom, BEVERLY 1975’s Cadence at The Lavery, Ahluwalia’s Estuary at Rosewood London and, overnight in a live terminal, airside at Heathrow Terminal 4.

What a specified paper needs from us

The maker’s hanging instructions come first. Panels are hung in their numbered sequence, batches are checked from the roll labels, and the set-out is agreed before the first length is cut. The materials library describes each family, and the guide to hand-painted papers and murals explains the set-out.

Questions

Asked about Specified papers we install

Does a maker's name on this page mean that maker endorses you?

No. A maker's name on this page means Mr Wallcover installed that maker's product on a project. It is not a maker approval or endorsement, and we are not on makers' installer lists. Calico Wallpaper is the only partnership: work delivered in partnership with Calico Wallpaper.

What happens if a roll arrives faulty?

Rolls are inspected as part of preparation; on large volumes not every roll can be opened in advance. Any defect is reported straight away to the designer, contractor and manufacturer. If a fault comes from the installation, Mr Wallcover covers the cost of the material.
