Mr Wallcover has installed Calico Wallpaper at four public commissions in London since 2018, delivered in partnership with Calico Wallpaper. A maker’s name on this site means we installed that maker’s product on that project. It is not a maker approval, accreditation or endorsement.
What was hung
- Heathrow Terminal 4, 2018. A bespoke, non-repeating painted-landscape mural, custom-printed to the exact wall sizes of a luxury fashion house’s airside store.
- Lee Broom’s Shoreditch showroom, 2025. Overture, Lee Broom’s trompe-l’oeil theatre curtain for Calico Wallpaper (installed design: Matinee), measured for a bespoke panel layout for London Design Festival 2025.
- The Lavery, Cromwell Place, 2026. Cadence by Athena Calderone in Oxblood, hung in a day for BEVERLY 1975 during Brompton Design District 2026.
- Rosewood London, 2026. Ahluwalia’s Estuary, a bespoke mural, installed as the runway backdrop for London Fashion Week.
Product names are as the case studies record them. For the maker’s own range and product details, see Calico Wallpaper.
How it hangs
The method is the one the case studies record. At Heathrow the landscape is a single picture: every panel has its own place, so the horizon has to run level and unbroken across each join and around every internal corner, and the walls were hung overnight while the terminal kept running. At Lee Broom’s showroom the work began with a survey and a bespoke panel layout. For Calico’s London Design Festival dinner and for the Rosewood runway, panels were papered on freestanding theatrical flats in a workshop and delivered finished.
