Wallpaper installation in Kensington

Townhouses, mansion flats and family houses in Kensington and Holland Park. Surveying, supply, installation and aftercare from one London practice.

Kensington houses range from Victorian stucco to later mansion blocks, and the walls vary as much as the architecture. The survey is a judgement on the wall as well as a measure of it. If the wall is not ready for the material specified, we say so before the last drop is ordered.

We hang silk, grasscloth and other natural weaves, fabric walling, vinyl, hand-painted papers in the manner of de Gournay and Fromental, murals and acoustic wallcoverings. Paper can be hung to joinery where the drawings show it.

Private clients are not named. Residential work appears only by street or area, with the owner's agreement. The public record of our work is on the projects page.

Questions

Asked about Kensington

Which wallcoverings do you hang in Kensington homes?

Silk, grasscloth and natural weaves, fabric walling, vinyl and contract wallcoverings, hand-painted papers, murals, and acoustic wallcoverings and panels.

How much extra wallpaper should I order?

Enough to cover the pattern repeat and the wastage it creates. Where the repeat is demanding, that allowance is often in the region of 20%. We quantify it from the survey.
