Mr Wallcover has hung House of Hackney wallpapers at four published commissions. Mr Wallcover is not on maker recommended-installer lists: a maker’s name on this site means we installed that maker’s product on that project.

## Which papers

The pattern names are the ones the case studies record:

- **The Castle of Trematon, Cornwall (2019–2022):** PLANTASIA, GAIA in Prussian Blue, FLORA DELANICA, COSMOS in Celestial Blue, FLORA FANTASIA in Noir Stripe and Ecru, ARTEMIS and HOLLYHOCKS.
- **The House of Hackney showroom, St Michael’s Clergy House (2022):** the maker’s own papers through the concept rooms, the bedroom and the tiled cloakrooms, after preparation and making good of the 1856 clergy house, ready for the public opening on 26 March 2022.
- **Hyde London City:** LIMERENCE in Galapagos, wrapping a suite, its bedroom and its dressing area.
- **A Georgian house in North London (2019):** BAMBUSA in Midnight, on every wall of a guest bedroom.

For the maker’s range, see [House of Hackney](https://www.houseofhackney.com/).

## How it hangs

As the case studies record it: in an old house, walls lean, floors slope and beams cut across the wall at odd angles, so the paper is set out around the room as found, then cut around the beams, the fireplace, the built-in desk and the shelving and finished tight to the paintwork. At the clergy house, preparation and making good came first.

## Photographs

House of Hackney’s finished-room photographs of the showroom are credited “Photography: House of Hackney” and stay credited that way; the rest were taken on site by us. Each case study below has its own photographs and credits.

Questions

## Asked about House of Hackney wallpaper installation

### Is Mr Wallcover a House of Hackney recommended installer?

No. Mr Wallcover is not on maker recommended-installer lists. We have hung House of Hackney wallpapers at four published commissions, including the maker's own showroom at St Michael's Clergy House. A maker's name on this site means we installed that maker's product on that project; it is not a maker approval, accreditation or endorsement.

### Can House of Hackney paper be hung in a listed or historic house?

Yes. The North London bedroom is in a listed Georgian house, with exposed beams and floorboards that slope with age, and the Castle of Trematon papers were hung in the Georgian house inside the castle walls. The set-out is planned around the room as found.

### Whose photographs are on the House of Hackney showroom case study?

The finished-room photographs are House of Hackney's own, credited "Photography: House of Hackney". The others were taken on site by us.
