# Paper and non-woven

Printed or plain, from a quiet texture to a large repeat.

**Consider it when**
: You want a printed pattern or a quieter, more even visual finish.

**The trade-off**
: Print, backing and care vary substantially between products.

**Before ordering**
: Confirm the repeat, match, usable width and actual cleaning instructions.

## Joins

Seams are part of a hung wall. The match follows the repeat: free or straight. Half-drop and murals are set out on site, not by the simple calculator.

## Where it belongs

Homes and hotels

## Handling

The wall has to be sound first. Lining is used when the maker or the wall requires it.

## Care

Follow the maker. Many papers are not washable. We do not call a family washable, fire-rated or seamless unless that product’s own data says so.

Digital colour is a guide. Order a cutting or a sample before you commit to a room. We can install material you have already bought, or source a family and install it. Either way, the next step is a short note about the room.
